How to Create an Account and Register

• Go to the Smith & Co website. https://smithcoauctions.bidwrangler.com/ui or you can download the Smith & Co app on the Apple app store / Google play store.

  • The Android app can be downloaded here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smithcoauctions.bid
• Click on the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the top right of the screen
• Next, click on ‘Sign In’. If you’ve never created an account, follow the steps to create an account using your email and create a password. Otherwise, enter your email and password that you’ve already established.

Congratulations, you’ve just created an account with Smith & Co. You can now register and bid.

How to Register to Bid

• Sign in using your email address and password. If you have never signed in before, follow the instructions above.
• Choose the auction you want to bid on and click the ‘View Auction’ button
• The items will be listed on the right. Click on the ‘Register to Bid’ button next to any item
• Fill out the registration form, then choose ‘Continue’
• Now you will need to accept terms and conditions for the specific auction. Read over the terms and conditions and then click in the ‘I agree’ box. It is important that you familiarize yourself with all the terms and conditions BEFORE BIDDING. The terms of sale are non-negotiable. Once you’ve reviewed and agreed to the terms, click on ‘Continue’
• Next, you will be asked to provide your credit card information. **Note** this is only to verify the card is valid and has available funds. Complete the information and click on ‘Register’

Congratulations, you have now successfully registered to bid. Happy Bidding!

**We highly recommend that you DO NOT wait until the last minute to register to bid. While you may wait to place your bid at a later time, by registering in advance, you can feel rest assured that you understand the bidding tools.

How to Bid

• To bid the asking price on an item, click the ‘Green Bid Button’. This will bid the next asking price.
• To bid a custom amount or enter a max bid, click on the arrow on the right
• Here you can bid the “Current asking price.” 
• Enter a custom bid.
• Place your highest max bid, which will allow the system to bid on your behalf up to the max bid you’ve put in place.
